AdvanceWork SMS Terms & Messaging Consent

1. Program Description & Consent
AdvanceWork LLC operates an SMS messaging program for its platform users.
By opting in, you agree to receive text messages (SMS) from AdvanceWork LLC related to your account, team operations, security alerts, and system notifications. Your consent is collected via a standalone checkbox when you provide your phone number in your profile settings.
Text messages are sent from a toll-free number operated by AdvanceWork LLC. You may receive messages regarding account security, mission operations, shift scheduling, and emergency alerts.
2. Types of Messages
By opting in to SMS notifications, you may receive text messages including:
- Account Alerts: Password resets, login notifications, and account security updates
- Mission & Operational Alerts: Mission assignments, mission updates, mission cancellations, and mission reminders
- Shift Scheduling: Shift assignments, shift updates, and shift reminders
- Emergency Notifications: Protectee emergencies, critical security alerts, and urgent team communications
- System Messages: Service announcements and platform notifications
3. Consent Is Not Required for Purchase
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or use of the AdvanceWork platform.
You may use all features of AdvanceWork without opting in to SMS notifications. SMS is an optional communication channel provided for your convenience. You will continue to receive important notifications via email and in-app notifications regardless of your SMS preference.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You may receive multiple messages per day during active operations.
The number of messages you receive depends on your team's operational activity, the notification types you have enabled, and real-time events such as mission assignments or security alerts. There is no fixed maximum number of messages per month.
5. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier will apply to SMS messages sent to and from AdvanceWork. These charges are determined by your carrier and your mobile plan. AdvanceWork does not charge separately for SMS notifications. Contact your wireless carrier for information about your specific plan and rates.
6. Opt-Out / STOP
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time:
Reply STOP
Text STOP to any message from AdvanceWork. You will receive a one-time confirmation message: "You have been unsubscribed from AdvanceWork SMS notifications. No more messages will be sent. Reply HELP for help."
After opting out via STOP, no further SMS messages will be sent unless you explicitly re-consent through the app.
In-App Settings
You may also disable SMS in Settings → Notification Preferences at any time.

8. Privacy & Data Sharing
Your phone number and SMS consent information are never sold, shared, or used for third-party marketing purposes.
We collect and store your phone number solely for the purpose of delivering SMS notifications you have opted in to. Consent records (including timestamp and source) are retained for compliance purposes.

9. Eligibility
By providing your phone number and opting in to SMS notifications, you confirm that:
- You are the authorized user or account holder of the mobile phone number provided
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You consent to receive autodialed or prerecorded text messages at the number provided
If you change your phone number, please update your profile settings promptly. AdvanceWork is not responsible for messages sent to a phone number you no longer control.
